The site parses the daily Daily Booked-In Reports (DBRs) and Daily Bond Reports published by the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office. These are public records released under the Texas Public Information Act (Tex. Gov’t Code Chapter 552).

Departmental profile information (agency name, jurisdiction cities, self-provided contact details) is a mix of public-record sources and information supplied by department staff during the page-claim process.

A single ingest of both feeds runs each morning at approximately 8:00 AM Central. Source publications sometimes lag or are re-issued with corrections; in those cases the newer version overwrites the parsed record on the next run.

Analytics reflect only the data window this site has successfully ingested — not the entire historical record of the county. The dashboard freshness indicator shows the current source-report date and the last successful update time.

Booking events, people, charge categories, and bond information are parsed from the PDF source reports and stored in a structured database. Charge severity is derived from the statute string when possible; charge category is derived from keyword classification. Both may contain source or clerical errors — the site does not manually verify individual entries.

City-name normalization corrects common spellings (e.g. “Ft Worth” → “Fort Worth”) but never invents a location. When normalization is ambiguous, the raw source string is preserved.

Any location field associated with a person represents the address they reported to the Sheriff’s Office at intake — typically what appears on their ID. It is self-reported and not verified, and it is not the location of the arrest. This site publishes only the city (and, when available, state) — exact street addresses are not shown publicly.

Public profile pages show: name, booking history, charges as listed by the arresting agency, bond amounts, age derived from the public date of birth, race and sex when available in the source report, and reported city of residence. Full dates of birth and exact street addresses are not published even though they appear in the source PDFs.
